- How does the Spring Leadership Meeting differ from the Annual Conference which is held in the fall?
- The Spring Leadership Meeting is an essential event for the QCS community, offering a unique opportunity to share ideas, suggest program improvements, and brainstorm ways QCS can provide even greater value to you and your company. Unlike the Annual Conference in the Fall, the Spring Meeting is a more intimate gathering, focused on open discussions, member-led roundtables, sourcing sessions, as well as the QCS Stakeholder, Board of Directors meeting, and committee meetings. The average attendance at the spring meeting is approximately 150 people.
- The annual QCS annual fall conference features educational breakout sessions, keynote presentations, business meetings, award presentations (quality, collaboration, marketing & leadership), networking events, as well as our supply partner product displays. The average attendance at the annual conference is approximately 350 people.
- Who typically attends the QCS Spring Leadership Meeting?
- QCS members, staff, category leaders, and the supply partner advisory council are invited to the Spring Leadership Meeting.
Registration
- How do I register for the meeting?
- You may register to attend the QCS Spring Leadership Meeting HERE.
- Is there a cost to register for the Spring Leadership Meeting?
- Registration is complimentary for QCS members.
- Can I bring my Spouse or Partner to the Spring Leadership Meeting?
- Yes. There is no registration fee for member spouse’s or partner’s. They are welcome to attend all meals, and receptions.
Housing & Transportation
- When will room reservations open?
- Room reservations are open now. You may reserve your room at the Walt Disney World Swan by visiting the QCS housing page here.
- What is the negotiated room rate?
- $329.00 plus tax, applicable fees and $40 per day resort service package.
- What is the major airport in Boston?
- The Orlando (MCO) airport is 16.8 miles away.
- Does the Walt Disney World offer a hotel shuttle from the airport?
- No, they no longer provide guest transportation from the airport to the resorts.
Transportation to the Theme Parks
- Buses depart rom the front entrance of the Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve to the Magic Kingdom® Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park and Disney Springs® area approximately every 20 – 25 minutes. Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom® Park will be dropped off at Disney’s Ticket and Transportation Center.
- What are the times of departure to and from the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks for the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin?
- Water taxis take our guests to Disney’s BoardWalk, the Disney’s Hollywood Studios™ and Epcot® approximately every 20 – 25 minutes, starting 1 hour before the parks open*. You will be able to board the water taxi from the boat dock located by the covered walkway between the Swan and Dolphin wings.
- From Parks:
- The same schedule applies to the return routes from the parks to the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. You should inquire inside the park you are visiting where the transportation you will be using is located.
- *Park hours do change. Please check with one of our Disney Desks (located in the lobbies of both the Swan and Dolphin wings) for the operating hours of the park you are visiting.
- Do I get free parking if I drive my own vehicle to a theme park?
- Standard theme park parking is included for registered Guests of the Swan and Dolphin resort. Guests can also choose to enjoy preferred parking by paying the difference in cost between their included standard parking and preferred parking (difference is currently $20-$25 per day*).
